An Embodied Imagination Therapist or Embodied Imagination Practitioner is an individual who has received a certificate in a three-year training program [accredited] approved by the International Society for Embodied Imagination®.Training requirements vary from training program to training program around the world, but all meet the basic requirements of theory, practice, and supervision.
An Embodied Imagination Therapist must also have an extensive clinical background from a recognized educational program. In addition, upon completion of a three year program, certified members can train others and use the Embodied Imagination® trademark.
Embodied Imagination Practitioners who have gone through less than three years of approved Embodied Imagination® training can use the Embodied Imagination® method in their practice. They cannot teach others in the Embodied Imagination® method nor pass on the EI trademark.
